:
MANAGER / DY. MANAGER – LEGAL (TECH – CONTRACTS)

We are looking for a highly skilled and self-motivated technology lawyer with at least 5 years PQE with a strong understanding of advanced technology, digital advertising, ad-tech, data protection, ad-operations and related technology to join our legal team at GirnarSoft Group. The candidate will be working closely with internal business teams operating in Indian market along with with some interaction in the overseas market as well.

Candidate must have the skills and experience necessary to advise on a broad range of the legal issues related to technology and the digital advertising business, including intellectual property, data protection, consumer protection and privacy issues in the context of advertising related technology (e.g., use cookies and cookie alternatives across devices, programmatic technologies and matching of datasets to target ads to various audience segments).

Key responsibilities will include:

End to End contract management. Drafting, reviewing and redlining contracts and other transactional documents, and aligning same with organizational objectives.
Understanding the needs of Ad-tech, E-Commerce, Information Technology, SaaS, Software Licensing and other business units in Indian as well as international markets. 
The role will entail End to End contract management, reviewing, drafting and negotiating several types of agreements, including SaaS, software licensing, applications development, API/systems integration, customization and development, technology consulting, and their related privacy and data security provisions. Agreements with ad agencies, ad servers, and data management companies will also be within your domain, as well as contracts with ad tech tools vendors and partners.
Converting business ideas into legal constructs most suitable for commercial needs of the organization and expanding the constructs into comprehensive contracts keeping in mind commercial and legal risks.
Research and analyze areas of commercial law as relevant to the company’s business and prospects. 
Remain abreast with the latest developments in the areas applicable to BUs and sending updates to various stakeholders for matters which have material bearing on legal documentation/contracts.
Maintain contractual records and documentation, such as receipt and control of all contract correspondence, contractual changes, status reports and other documents.
Support digitization of legal processes and workflows.

The candidate must:

be a law graduate i.e. LL.B. (LL.M. is a plus) from a premier Law School in India.
have 4-6 years of total post-qualification experience in the Ad-tech/E-Commerce/Information Technology/Software/Internet industry and/or law firms focusing on clients from such domain.
have international exposure preferably South-East Asia viz, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore. 
have thorough understanding of regulatory framework around Techno-Commercial industries.
proficient in performing legal research and writing advisories to different stakeholders.
used to working in a fast-paced, growth oriented environment for a dynamic company.

Professionals with only relevant qualification and experience are expected to submit their candidature.
