Job Description

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: As a Senior ServiceNow developer you will be responsible for configuring ServiceNow modules based on requirements and releasing them into production environment. Also responsible for the design, development, and implementation of new applications on the ServiceNow platform. To be successful, one should have prior experience implementing and deploying the core suite of ITSM applications (Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, Service Request, Service Level agreement), as well as experienced in developing custom solutions on the ServiceNow platform that leverage the automation and integration. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Implementing ServiceNow ITSM modules as a technical resource with hands on development of
  • Application Configuration
  • Workflow Configuration
  • UI Configuration (Service Portal)
  • Client and server-side scripting
• Provide technical solution and assist the team on technical blockers
• Work on projects and enhancements involving ServiceNow
• Analysis of functional requirement specifications received from Service Owners & proposing the technical feasibility and solution.
• Knowledge of technical components such as LDAP, VPN, SSL, SAML/SSO and other such technologies.

Mentor field resources in implementation methodology, configuration, and best practices for ServiceNow.

• Should engage in requirement gathering on enhancements from Process/Service Owners
• Proactive Problem mgmt. on repetitive incidents and major incidents in ServiceNow
• Platform upgrade & maintenance
• Work with team to trouble-shoots, diagnose and resolve issues.

Qualifications & Skills: EDUCATION Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required MINIMUM EXPERIENCE 6+ years of related experience BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES:

• Strong relationship management skills and aptitude to multi-task and work well in a high stress environment, both within teams and independently.
• Strong in code of Business conduct and ethics, Professional, Punctual and sticking to timelines for work assigned or picked up

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE

• 5+ years of working experience on ServiceNow who has handled E2E implementation of various modules in ServiceNow

Experience with Web Technologies (XML, HTML, JavaScript, Web Services, etc) and working in a SaaS environment.

• Should have knowledge on Service Portal and Angular JS
• Implemented Integrations with 3rd party tools using REST/SOAP
• Proficiency with Word, Excel and PowerPoint and presenting to senior management using data and information from these tools.
• Knowledge of web-based systems architecture, service-based architecture, enterprise

application architecture

• ITIL certification is preferred.
• Skills: ServiceNow, JavaScript, Web services, ITIL
