Job Purpose and Impact

The Analytics Engineer II will focus on enabling management information, business intelligence and analytics competencies with the primary purpose to reduce time to insights. In this role, you will be investing in the core capabilities of data management, data engineering and information products enabling decision support to ensure timely, accurate and actionable insights to our teams. You will be a key partner between business needs and data engineering, delivering the final information product including building dashboards that enable business value.

Key Accountabilities

• Deliver sustainable, effective and efficient reporting and analytical solutions through gathering requirements, creating user stories, resolve solutions gaps, architecting and modeling dashboards and building standardized data visualization models.

• Support and enable management information and business intelligence strategy by effectively managing data, data engineering and financial analytics.

• Enable business insights by gathering functional requirements and develop user stories working directly with business stakeholders.

• Build and standardize data visualization across teams to enable consistency and quality control of key business data.

• Architect and model dashboards and user interactions based on business requirements.

• Participate in business intelligence reporting, governance and process improvement by supporting a culture of intellectual curiosity and continuous learning and maintaining standards and documentation.

• Identify areas requiring additional training and work with end users to resolve issues.

• Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience

• Proven experience with data analytics tools and applications

• Strong understanding of business value creation by leveraging disparate data sourcing and enabling business decisions

• Logical data management affinity experience

• Confirmed experience implementing data, business intelligence and analytics solutions

• Minimum of two years of related work experience

• Other minimum qualifications may apply

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in information or computer science

• Proven experience with multiple businesses or international business experience
