Job Purpose and Impact
The Team Manager, will lead all aspects of the routine activities of the invoice to pay team. In this role, you will lead and develop a team, overseeing decision making and problem solving. You will monitor and review key performance indicators and metrics and lead specific projects to drive efficiency.
You will be supporting APAC region (6:30 am to 3:30 pm) and you need to be flexible as per the business need.
Key Accountabilities
Monitor operations performance and advise on appropriate action plans to maintain consistent processes.
Build and develop an engaged, high-performing team to cultivate an inclusive environment.
Build and cultivate robust business relationships with key partners and stakeholders.
Build and champion a culture of continuous improvement and operations excellence.
Responsible for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions for your direct reports. You will also spend time completing the same tasks as employees on your team.
System Integration/Migration, Automation, Process Improvement.
Driving metrics preparation, root cause analysis, and remediation strategies across the ITP team to ensure metrics targets are achieved
Need to ensure that the key project and change milestones are met in a timely manner and in consultation with relevant stakeholders
Create reporting metrics to assist with oversight of controls and publishing of daily operation dashboard in through Power BI
Drive and encourage the creation of continuous improvement ideas within process and turn them towards actionable projects
Manage AP close activities including reconciliation review and month end clearings
Serve as a subject matter expert on accounts payable transactions and able to provide on-time resolutions to team.
Collaborate with ERP team on enhancements and resolution of system-related issues
Participate in key projects and initiatives across the functions
Adopt owner’s mind set, work independently, and effectively manage timelines
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Master’s degree in finance or equivalent experience
Ability to work across diverse cultures and backgrounds
Experience collaborating with stakeholders in a diversified environment
Strong communication, analytical, and decision-making skills
Minimum 5 – 6 years of experience in Procure to Pay functions in a multinational environment with specialization in Supplier payments, query management and managing COE teams of Payment.
SAP Knowledge is must and should have hands on exp in Navigating SAP and perform Payment runs.
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, dynamic, and often ambiguous work environment and are in the know with all latest technologies.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience managing large teams across the full spectrum of finance and accounting with hands on experience in Accounts Payable process, Payments COE, and stakeholder management.
Extensive accounting experience in finance operations
5 – 6 years of supervisory experience and managing a team of substantial size.
