Job Description:
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
The person filling this job will be involved with design and development of aftermarket parts kits for engines, hydraulics, and/or powertrains for Caterpillar products. He/she will create the consist for kits and support improving our kitting processes, managing our kit portfolio, and helping expand our kit offering (new types of kits). This person may work with internal process partners (Repair Options Data group, SIS authoring group, eCommerce group, etc.) to effectively deliver kit offering to dealers and customers. As appropriate, he/she will travel to dealer and customer sites for VOC, concept development, and prototype validation.

The key responsibilities will be as below:
Work new arrangements for kits and do maintenance of kits

Update standard work, audit work of others

Mentor new employees

SME on team projects

Small special projects

Prepare and present metrics for self and team

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in an accredited Engineering or Logistics curriculum

3-4 years in progressive relevant on-the-job experience

Strong communication, problem solving, and analytical skills

Good oral and written communication skills

Strong customer focus and ability to work effectively with a wide variety of people

Must be willing to work in US shift timing to have enough overlap with US-based process partners and product groups.

DESIRED SKILLS

Knowledge of CAT engineering systems (EDS/HVC/Team Center/Creo/TMI/UCIS etc)

Knowledge of CAT logistics systems

Project lead, program management, and facilitation skills

Component/system/machine design experience

SIS Web/TMI experience

Familiarity with CAT NPI process

Familiarity with Builder files and Repair Options data

Experience with aftermarket parts and distribution processes

Knowledge and experience with CAT ecommerce (Parts Store, Parts.CAT.com, other) platforms
