Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Development & Maintenance of Production engine/genset Product Bill of Material (BoM) Creation

2. Receive the change notification (PACN / PLACN / EDS Notification/ Job Number request for its applicability to facility and define effective dates

a. Review part numbers and/or job numbers to determine necessary action to be taken to complete the effectivity of the part numbers, follows up with appropriate areas/ cross functional team as needed

b. Initiates assembly check, as requested, with manufacturing Engineering

c. Implements changes in CBS with change number

d. BOM updates or changes in CBS

e. Define actual date engineering change became effective and the associated serial number when appropriate

f. Follows up to help resolve any Logistics issues

3. Changes to Established Effective Dates

a. Updates Releasing screens and Change Control as needed to reflect new effective date

b. Responsible for scheduling Production Job Number meetings to gain agreement on the feasibility of change effective dates after work with cross functional team

c. Responsible to notifies Procurement, Assembly Planning, Purchasing and Operations of the new effective date for engineering changes

d. Proceeds with implementation of changes

4. Document and maintain the change process and tools with metrics for review and improvement opportunities

5. Work with New Product/Technology Introduction team for BoM creation and release

6. Responsible to resolve concerns related to BoM, ECN to support assembly line daily basis

7. Support CQMS, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 documentation and audits

8. Support and work in non-normal business hours as needed to work with global team.

Required qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering from an accredited and recognized university with 7+ years of experience in engine/Genset domain

Proficient in change management

Proficient in change management tools like CBS, Teamcenter, SAP

Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Proficient communication skills as well as presenting out to stakeholders

Leadership skill

Relocation is available for this position.
