Roles and Responsibilities

Configure BO servers , Setting up the monitoring of BO servers/ resources with optimal performance. Verifying Web applications (CMC, BI LaunchPad, Custom Applications) availability all time. Setting up the auditing policies, manage event and alerts related to CMS, Audit and Reporting Database services and monitoring them. Create Users and User groups. Creating User access levels and Manage users permissions (Authorization Set up) Manage Universes, Connections and other BI Repository objects. Monitoring day to day scheduled report jobs and configuring new schedules. Monitoring the size of the Business objects Installation Folders. Regular BO repository Maintenance like Cleaning Orphaned Connection/Universe/Documents. Handling Migrations and upgrades of Business objects environments
