Job Description

• Responsible for smooth operation of salt field (SD2) and accountable for production quantity, quality parameters and development activities.
• Manpower planning, budgeting and ensure the right mix of manpower with optimum strength
• Process streamlining specially to ensure smooth brine management to optimize the yield and assure high quality salt.
• Review of project & development activities periodically and support for timely completion.
• Ensure product quality to meet CCAL requirement with proper and adequate washing.
• Provide complete technical support and take corrective action wherever required to achieve the budget commitments.
• Responsible for documentation coordination & Upkeep (Including the drawings) of various projects / development works.
• Monitor compliance of all statutory and regulatory requirements / obligations and to ensure that the same is adhered without any deviation.
• Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) wherever needed and ensure implementation for Safety in operation.
• To take care of specific or new assignments, if any, allotted by the management during the contract period.
• Sustain good relationship with the employees, motivate and guide them to achieve their best.
• Sustain good relationship with the contractors by conducting regular review and ensure all their grievances are addressed on time strictly adhering to contract terms.
• Stay up to date with latest best practices in the Salt business and suggest for improvement in operation.
• Preparation of annual budget and taking care of MIS requirements periodically.
• Periodical review of legal requirements / documents and develop / sustain good relationship with key Government Officials for hindrance free operation.
