The Cerence Cloud Services team is responsible for designing and developing software that enables real-time speech recognition, natural language understanding and text-to-speech for some of the world’s largest automobile manufacturers.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Software QA Intern to join a world-class team building server-side functionality that is at the core of all Cerence Cloud.

The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, automating and maintaining functional tests, as well as system end to end tests for various automotive solutions.

The position is for the “One Cloud” team who will be responsible for qualifying some of new components introduced in the evolution of the Cerence platform.

Job Description

Responsibilities

We are looking for a motivated Software QA Developer. Your main responsibilities will be, but not limited to:

Design, develop, automate, and maintain tests (functional, end to end)

Work in an agile environment with CICD

Maintain, and improve our test automation framework.

Participate to the technical aspects of the software solution through the full development lifecycle (including requirements, design, implementation, testing, documentation, maintenance, training and support).

Play an active role in daily scrums, weekly grooming sessions, etc.

Qualifications

Bachelor University degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent

Required Skills

Candidate should possess good Logical and Analytical abilities

Ready to work in manual and automation testing area

Knowledge of basic core Java

Demonstrated ability to focus and complete tasks on time

Strong team player

Show flexibility under changing conditions

Ability to analyze and solve complex problems quickly and creatively

Desire to learn new technologies

Excellent English oral and written communication skills

Self-starting, self-motivated, self-directed, and self-sufficient

Education

Bachelor University degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
