Cerner is elated to hire a Senior Team Lead, Software Engineering. As a Senior Team Lead Software Engineering, you will exhibit effective people management and conflict resolution skills. In this role, you will, mentor and coach team members to help them achieve their goals along with effective project and resource planning. As a Senior Team Lead Software Engineering, you will manage and drive development teams of Software Engineers working on application projects. Your responsibilities also include promoting and building a diverse cohesive team to accomplish objectives and align associates’ skills to fill gaps. In this role, you will Lead by example and share knowledge and experiences with associates and the team. As a Senior Team Lead Software Engineering, you will create a respectful work environment where you advocate for your team, create accountability and recognize their accomplishments. You will also, provide timely feedback to encourage success, ensure accountability, connect opportunities for your associates’ development and serve as technical resource manager and authority over multiple scrum teams. As part of this role, you will manage escalation and issue resolution for internal or external clients and stakeholders while delegating the work appropriately, providing clear expectations, and following up to ensure progress and overcome roadblocks. You will continuously monitor and ensure the improvement of quality. As a Senior Team Lead Software Engineering, you will collaborate and work with cross-functional teams (functional, Project Management, Testing teams) effectively with a focus on organizational goals. Additionally, you will drive solution/Org level initiatives and imperatives with complete ownership.
As a people’s Manager, you will seek to understand disagreements, ensure all perspectives are heard, and facilitate a plan for resolution. You will delegate the work appropriately, provide clear expectations and follow up to ensure progress and overcome roadblocks. In this role, you will identify associates and team priorities based on business direction and adjust when needed. You will lead by example and share knowledge and experiences with associates and the team. You will also, create a respectful work environment where you advocate for your team, create accountability and recognize their accomplishments while you provide timely feedback to encourage success, ensure accountability, and connect opportunities for your associates’ development. Additionally, you will Identify the right talent to achieve the desired results, promote and build a diverse cohesive team to accomplish objectives, and align associates’ skills to fill gaps.
