Job Description:

CernerWorks Client Operations is a Client Aligned Service Delivery Organization of the managed service business. We manage client interactions and the tightly coupled technical interactions of the products and platforms themselves. As a System Engineer at Cerner, you are responsible for the daily, weekly, and monthly activities required to deliver multiple project tasks on-time while following all process and procedures’, escalating issues as necessary, and creating or updating all necessary documentation. In addition, you will be responsible for installations for all environments of Cerner Solutions, implement and monitoring for applications and servers. Additionally, you will be responsible for deploying physical and virtual servers, setup, and maintain testing environments. In this role, you will also support per service request, complete assigned incident management tasks, perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware or OS upgrades, and resource optimization.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or any related discipline

• 0-3 years of experience working on technologies like Unix, Windows and exposure towards Application monitor & Support.

• Good Communication Skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience as Linux System Administrator, Windows Administrator and Application monitor/support.
