Position / Job Description: Around 5+ years Exp. In Oracle DBA, preferably with middleware admin skill sets such as installation/configuration/administration of WebLogic / WebSphere Tomcat / etc. experience,
Should have knowledge in Linux administration.
Working knowledge in various MS-Windows Server flavors.
Good knowledge of server hardenings and database and webservers patching.
Exposure to OVM/OLVM and VMware virtualization platforms.
Good and effective written and oral communication.
Basic understanding of storage and backup concepts.
Good knowledge of Networking, Active Directory; DNS and DHCP concepts.
Flexible to work any shifts (especially in EST time zone).

Job Role – Your future duties & responsibilities Installation / configuration / administration of Oracle databases, WebLogic / WebSphere / Tomcat / Java web application servers on Linux and Windows platforms.

Trouble shooting database and web application server performance issues, and, performing root cause analysis. Creating installations documents, etc.
Required qualifications for this role Bachelor’s degree in IT
Technologies required Mandatory:
Oracle Core DBA (primary) along with WebSphere / WebLogic / Tomcat / etc., middleware admin (secondary) with performance tuning and Linux shell scripting, on Linux & Windows platforms.
Desirable:One or more of, Windows PowerShell scripting, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher, PostgreSQL, IIS, etc.
Skills Mandatory Skills:
Installation & system administration of databases and webservers with performance tuning skills on Linux and Windows platforms.
Desired Skills:
DevOps, PowerShell scripting skills on Windows platforms, installation and configuration of applications written in VB, VC++, .NET, etc.
