Job Responsibilities

We are looking for a generalist candidate who brings in warehousing and logistics skill set. As Warehouse and Logistics Process Consultant at Chainalytics, you join a team that helps design logistics networks for world’s largest and most dynamic firms. He/she should have a clear understanding of people, process and tech related supply chain processes, and use that to drive enhancements and projects. You will also be working on supply chain process assessment, re-design, and consulting projects.

Required project experience should include:

• Warehouse Operations

• Logistics Operations

• Reverse Logistics Strategy

• Warehouse design (concept design, layout drawing)

• Last mile routing and utilization

• TMS, YMS

• Omnichannel Operational Consulting experience

Warehouse Design and Operations

• Knowledge/Experience warehousing operations processes – Dock, receive, stow, pick, pack and ship. Suggest improvements related to the same

• Work closely with the client to gather, analyse, warehouse process data to suggest enhancements

• Logistics network Design/Optimization

• Design the first, middle and last mile network; build data models to calculate the transportation cost

• Work closely with the client to gather, analyse logistics process data to model Logistics Network Design

• Knowledge/Experience Logistics processes – First, Middle and last mile. Suggest improvements related to the same

Process Excellence

• Run process workshops with client supply chain teams to understand current state process elements, bottlenecks, and root causes of the issues

• Assess the maturity of client supply chain processes (using SCOR or Gartner frameworks) and recommend changes; develop a benefit case for the client

• Create detailed procure-to-pay processes working closely with supply chain procurement team of clients

Qualifications:

An ideal candidate will have:

• Demonstrated competency evaluating operational performance, formulating actionable tactics and strategies, developing business cases for change, and managing change in a supply chain context.

• Hold an Engineering degree (Master’s preferred) in Industrial or Mechanical or Production Engineering

• Has 2-6 years of experience in warehouse and logistics network design and operations (specific experience in consulting is a significant advantage)

• Have recommended, designed and/or implemented a logistics network project

• Have omnichannel solutioning experience
