: The Professor of Cloud Computing will be responsible for teaching, research, and academic leadership in the field of cloud computing within the institution. This role involves designing and delivering courses at undergraduate and/or graduate levels, conducting cutting-edge research, and contributing to the overall academic and institutional objectives. Responsibilities:
- Course Development and Delivery:
- Develop and deliver courses related to cloud computing, including introductory and advanced topics.
- Design curriculum, course materials, and assessments that align with industry standards and academic rigor.
- Research:
- Conduct research in cloud computing, contributing to the advancement of knowledge in the field.
- Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals, conference proceedings, and other scholarly outlets.
- Student Supervision and Mentorship:
- Supervise undergraduate and graduate student research projects in cloud computing.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to students pursuing academic and career goals in the field.
- Academic Leadership:
- Participate in departmental and institutional committees and activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the quality of education and research within the department and institution.
- Professional Development:
- Engage in continuous professional development activities to maintain expertise in cloud computing and related areas.
- Attend conferences, workshops, and seminars to network with peers and stay updated on the latest research and practices.
Qualifications:
- A Ph.D. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with a focus on cloud computing.
- Demonstrated expertise in cloud computing technologies, platforms, and architectures.
- certifications in cloud computing (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
