Job Description:
Candidate shall be based at Central Chinmaya Mission Trust Head Office at Powai:
1. Preferably dealt with Charity Commissioners Office, Mumbai & attended hearings and assessments before the Income Tax Assessing Officer
2. The person should be conversant with Tally financial accounting package (ERP 9 version). Also the candidate should be able to handle Microsoft Office utilities, Income Tax & GST utilities with proficiency;
3. He should be honest, hardworking, and sincere & have high degree of integrity & maturity;
4.. Should have exposure to Income Tax, GST law, FCRA law. Knowledge of Law would be an added advantage;
5 Exposure to Contractors bill accounting & material reconciliation is a must;
6. Should be able to correspond independently with external agencies & complete stock reconciliation, accounts reconciliation with customers, creditors, branches;
7. Deposit TDS on income tax & GST with the statutory authorities & file tax returns;
8. Should be conversant with availing Input GST set off paid against Output GST liabilities & pay the dues timely & file periodical returns;
9. Should be familiar with accrual system of accounting & draw up balance sheet, income & expenditure account and Receipt & Payment Account on a monthly basis;
10. Should be able to draw out receipts for all cash collections & arrange for depositing the same with the bank immediately and complete cash & bank reconciliation regularly;
11 Should be able to draw final accounts for Head Office (HO) & budget in line with the provisions under the Maharashtra Public Trust act, 1950;
12. Should be able to get the internal & external audit completed for the Head Office without any adverse observations/qualifications
13. Should be able to ensure statutory compliances for Head Office
