Job Overview:
Performs all the functions pertaining to the management, supervision, and coordination of various activities associated with the efficient operation of the retail store known as Surfway.
This position is unaccompanied; and a Bachelor’s Quarter (BQ) will be provided.
Responsibilities:Essential Duties & Job Functions:
Oversees receipt, storage, issuing, restocking, and dry and cold storage function.
Confirms receipts for material, arriving via commercial carriers, unloads, checks-in, and processes
related documentation.
Checks for damage and coordinates the resolution of discrepancies or may process claims for freight damage.
Utilizes Point of Sale (POS) software.
Oversee the staff to ensure they are completing their assigned tasks in a correct and efficient manner.
Ensures the safe operation of operation retail centers to include meeting health and safety Listen to customers and note their complaints; resolve such complaints without delay.
Ensures the members of the team properly stock and groom the products on the shelves.
Organize and monitor periodic cleaning tasks to ensure the store is clean and organized.
Ensures compliance with established policies and procedures including but not limited to safety (HACCP, OSHA) personnel, security, and pest control.
Reviews inventory on a regular basis to ensure that the inventory is correct, and the products are in-house.
Accurately and timely complete and processes necessary reports and paperwork.
Develops strong business relationships with customers by maintaining open communication with customers, and by quickly and effectively resolving concerns.
Manages, prepares, and delivers staff’s performance evaluations/appraisals, as well as performance deficiencies and recommendations.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:Mandatory:
High School education or equivalent.
Minimum of one (1) year experience in supply or logistic related work.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Travel by plane or helicopter to conduct work activities on Roi Namur, as may be required.
Ability to successfully pass any background checks, pre-employment physical requirements and drug testing required by the contract.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. passport.
Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination:
In order to qualify for this position, you must be fully vaccinated prior to the start of your assignment and show proof of your vaccination status, unless you are legally entitled to an accommodation (religious or medical).
