Experience : 6-7 years Location : Bangalore Job Requirements: Experience with Linux servers in virtualized environments and hands on experience on Redhat, Centos, Ubuntu and AWS Linux. • Install, setup and configure Redhat & CentOS 6.x, 7.x & 8.x versions • Should have experience in installing, configuring and management of server and network hardware and peripherals. • Should have experience in working with HP, IBM Dell server hardware • Familiarity with the fundamentals of Linux scripting languages. • Linux boot process, run levels & file systems. • Good knowledge on LVM. • Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining services such as Bind, Apache, MySQL, Nginx, keepalived, pacemaker etc. • Strong grasp on configuration management tools, such as Puppet and Chef. • Familiarity with load balancing, firewalls, etc. • Proficient with network tools such as iptables, Linux IPVS, HAProxy, etc. • Experience with virtualization technologies, VMware, Xen etc. • Ability to build and monitor services on production servers. • Should be certified RHCE. (Can consider non RHCE if profile and experience is good) • Should have good experience in local YUM repository configuration. • Should have experience in configuring NTP server and client configuration. • Should have good experience in OS hardening and security implementation. • Should be ready to take up any kind of open source software’s installation and configuration. • Good exposure to automation tools like Terraform, Ansible and Jenkins. • Dockers implementation knowledge • Should be ready to work in 24×7 shift rotation.
