CTI Business Analyst
Job Function: Infrastructure Delivery Reporting & Administration

The Business Analyst is a developing professional role. Applies specialty area knowledge in monitoring, assessing, analyzing and/or evaluating processes and data. Identifies policy gaps and formulates policies. Interprets data and makes recommendations. Researches and interprets factual information. Identifies inconsistencies in data or results, defines business issues and formulates recommendations on policies, procedures or practices. Integrates established disciplinary knowledge within own specialty area with basic understanding of related industry practices. Good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area. Develops working knowledge of industry practices and standards. Limited but direct impact on the business through the quality of the tasks/services provided. Impact of the job holder is restricted to own team.

You will be part of a global team, CTI Distributed Service Horizontal Delivery & Integration, which is responsible for delivery and integration of new server platforms for the sectors. Our objective is to standardize traditional server platform delivery across the sectors using common standards and processes – which will help gain efficiency, drive automation and improve our client/partner infrastructure service.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for routine operational or administrative work
Day-to-day actions are focused on administering defined procedures, analysis and report preparation
Individuals will have their work thoroughly reviewed and checked by more senior incumbents and will have limited contact outside their immediate area
Daily deliverable of routine and defined outputs, while at the same time developing knowledge of the broader context in which the work is being performed
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Validate and ensure data integrity across a broad spectrum of reports and perform analysis
Produce senior management reports and ad-hoc data analysis to improve operations
Provide data, presentations and independent analysis for management and function heads.
Support the group in producing presentations for management, financial reporting and assisting in other special projects.
Analyse team processes and suggest ways to automate the current manual processes to increase team efficiency
Managing of Databases which store current & historical team data essential to the running of the team
Requirements:
Bachelors or Masters degree
6+ months working in a financial institution or related discipline
Ability to think strategically and to engage resources outside of their direct control to achieve objectives
Experienced in Microsoft Office (Visio, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, MS Project)
Ability to create & maintain Databases such as MS SQL and/or Oracle
Experience of customer support in a time-critical environment Strong self-management and be ready to use own initiative
Strong team-player and collaborator
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent communication skills
Fluent English
Preferred:
1 Year + working in a financial institution or related discipline
Working Knowledge of reporting tools such as PowerBI
Knowledge of Lean methodology
Knowledge of Python/Angular
Knowledge of Service Now 2.0
