Full Job Description
The resource will be a Level 3 DBA SME capable of supporting mission critical applications for Oracle, invest time in RDBMS Database Technology and continue to support Oracle for Critical applications The Level 3 DBA SME will perform the support globally, following Global Sector Database Service Standards.

Knowledge

Database setup and configuration performed are following the Database Security Model
Intimate Knowledge of the Oracle RDBMS database administration and Golden Gate Replication best practices
Perform database patching and Upgrades
In-Depth Knowledge and experience of Oracle Data Guard/Golden Gate replication and physical standby for Disaster recovery.
Resolve moderately complex problems/projects through analysis, technical experience, and precedents; provide analysis for more complex issues, escalating as appropriate
Demonstrated ability to use problem solving techniques such as root cause analysis to resolve issues
Experience in small to large scale system projects including full development lifecycle and structured trouble shooting and analysis skills
Experiences to address database alerts/issues capacity constraints and performance related items.
Fully analyze performance issues in most critical and performance sensitive Oracle databases.
Identify tuning opportunities; implement improvements and advice developers on SQL tuning options.
Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills
Qualifications:6+ years hands-on experience supporting: Oracle RDBMS Version 11g, 12c and 19c and Golden Gate version 12c and 19c
5+ years Hands on experiences on Linux with Oracle RDBMS installation upgrade and patching including Oracle Real Application Clusters, Data Guard and Active Data guard
2+ years hands-on experience supporting: Oracle Golden Gate
Experienced in utilizing monitoring and performance tools such as Oracle Enterprise Manager and reading and interpreting AWR/ASH reports.
Experienced in utilizing Oracle migration methods such as Data Pump and Transportable (X-TTS)
Experienced in writing UNIX shell scripts
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Effective analytic/diagnostic skills
Ability to work with virtual and in-person teams
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
