Full Job Description
Infrastructure Senior MS-SQL Server Database Administrator. Managing Mission critical database servers/applications. This level-3 MSSQL DBA SME will perform and manage database support as per database security engineering process and guidelines.

Knowledge / Responsibilities / Experience

Good Knowledge in Configure / Setup / Manage New Microsoft SQL Server Instances
In-Depth Knowledge and experience in ALWAYSON & SQL DB Mirroring replication technologies
Good experience in Database Migrations and upgrades from one version to another version
Experience in Data Center Relocation and Migration
Experience in database management including backups, recovery, and maintenance
Good in Production Problem Troubleshooting Skills during performance Problems/Issues
Good in Monitoring all Indexes, Statistics, Locks, I/O, database response time, Wait events, top sessions, and background processes.
Configure and Manage SQL Security Settings.
Knowledge in setting up Database Encryption (TDE)
Knowledge on Windows Operation System
Proactively Monitor SQL Server Maintenance Tasks, troubleshoot failed Jobs and resolve Issues in a timely manner
Good Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills
Strong Communication (verbal and written) and Presentation skills

Qualifications:
8+ Years Hands on experiences on Microsoft SQL Server Database (Versions: SQL 2016/2019) including Database Upgrade/Migration, ALWAYSON, DB Mirroring Data Replication Technologies experiences.
Experienced in utilizing monitoring and performance tools such as Microsoft SCOM and reading / interpreting performance reports.
Experienced in writing PowerShell scripts and T-SQL Scripts.
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Effective analytic/diagnostic skills
Ability to work with virtual and in-person teams

Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
