Full Job Description
The Engineering Lead Analyst is a senior level role responsible for assisting with DBRE, database Tuning and Automation administration activities, including Application technical guidance, and security in coordination with the other Technology teams. The overall objective is to use infrastructure technology knowledge and identified policies to process data, resolve issues and execute database administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:
10+ years production Oracle Database Administration experience in Oracle 11g/12c/19c
DBRE (Database Reliability Engineer) with strong automation background
Expected to be dynamic, flexible and a quick-learner as this is a rapidly changing environment Backup and Recovery, including configuring backup jobs with RMAN and achieving high availability with Data Guard/RAC
Performs capacity planning, evaluate database server hardware, and manage all aspects of an Oracle database including installation, configuration, design, and data migration.
Good in performance, monitoring, security, backups, troubleshooting, and data recovery.
Designs, creates, analyzes and implements databases and data models
Perform Oracle database performance analysis and optimization, define bottlenecks and manage testing and production implementation
Unix Shell Scripting, preferably Python and Ansible
Oracle database build using ASM and Clusterware on RAC/Non-RAC databases
Good in performance tuning.

Qualifications:
Around10 years of experience in roles centered around infrastructure delivery (application hosting and/or end user services) with a proven track record of operational process change and improvement
Understanding of how specialization within area contributes to the business and of competitors’ products and services
Ability to develop projects required for design of metrics, analytical tools, benchmarking activities and best practices
Ability to work with virtual / in-person teams, and work under pressure / to a deadline
Experience in a Financial Services or large complex and/or global environment preferred
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Effective analytic/diagnostic skills
Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audience

Education:
Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
