Citigroup Hiring for Business Analysis Sr Manager at Pune, India Full Time

The Business Analysis Senior Manager is a senior management-level position responsible for liaising between business users and technologists to exchange information in a concise, logical and understandable way in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to continuous iterative exploration and investigation of business performance and other measures to gain insight and drive business planning.

Responsibilities:

• Utilizes good understanding of business analysis procedures and concepts for Custody, Settlement and Asset Servicing business flows and Data modelling for Custody business flows

• Interact with Product and Operations team globally to understand and clarify the requirements

• Write functional document while meeting agile implementation deadlines.

• Work proactively & independently to address project requirements, and articulate issues / challenges with enough lead time to address project delivery risks

• Review existing processes in place and come up with creative/automated solutions while working with technical teams

• Contribute to design and system architectures.

• Provide technical and modelling expertise to the team

• People management, mentor and coach junior team members

• 6-10 years of relevant experience

• Demonstrated leadership skills

• Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication

• Proven interpersonal skills with ability to partner and influence across organizational lines

• Proven ability of using complex analytical, interpretive and problem-solving techniques

Required Skills/Experience

Must-haves:

• 14+ years of strong business analyst experience within custody and financial services

• Extensive business analysis experience across a range of projects, programmes and domains

• Extensive experience of documenting use cases, functional specifications or similar

• Able to work as part of a virtual team in a culturally diverse background

• Strong data modelling skills / experience with ISO20022

• Familiarity with modern data governance practices

• Strong communication, analytical, problem solving and time management skills

Desirable:

• Experience with pub/sub infrastructure (eg Kafka) and sql/no-sql databases

• Experience with Jira / Confluence

• Experience with BPMN

Education:

• Bachelors/Master Degree either in technology disciplines

• CBAP Certification would be a plus
