The Technology Intermediate Business Analyst is an intermediate-level position responsible for liaising between business users and technologists to exchange information in a concise, logical and understandable way in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to continuous iterative exploration and investigation of business performance and other measures to gain insight and drive business planning.
Responsibilities:
The role is to help businesses implement technology solutions in a cost-effective way by determining the requirements, and communicating them clearly to all stakeholders, facilitators and partners.
The candidate will use his/her experience to conduct business and data analysis for onboarding various countries on to Global Billing.
The candidate will understand the customizations done for Citi by the vendor and build new solutions based on the requirements for each region.
In this position the candidate must be able to facilitate discussions, elicit requirements and orchestrate solutions while being successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously.
The Solution Analyst is to work with development team in helping them understand requirements, create test plans, analyze QC and UAT defects, tracks and manages and fully documents changes for functional and business specifications.
Responsible for providing functional leadership of multiple large scale/complex global software solutions
Build and sustain strong relationships with the senior business leaders associated with the platform.
Work closely with Program Management and Quality Control teams to deliver quality software to agreed project schedules.
Proactively notify Development Project Manager of risks, bottlenecks, problems, issues, and concerns.
Compliance with Citi’s System Development Lifecycle and Information Security requirements.
Understanding technology industry trends, how they impact our future solutions and provide strategic direction for the development community.
Monitor, update and communicate project timelines and milestones; obtain senior management feedback; understand potential speed bumps and client’s true concerns/needs.

Qualifications:
Candidate is to perform at the Business Analyst level and should have 8+ years of experience.
Candidate must have experience in Billing and Pricing, understand the General Ledger concepts, Revenue management etc.
Candidate must have experience with billing applications such as Oracle Revenue Management & Billing (ORMB), or Oracle’ s Customer Care & Billing (CC&B) experience.
Experience in Core Banking/Financial Services industry in the areas of Cash Management is desired.
Proven experience in System Configurations, Conversions, Fit/Gap analysis, documenting functional specifications are required.
Has excellent writing, oral and organizational skills.
Solid experience in creating business requirements, functional requirements, test plan documents and fit/gap analysis is required.
Has excellent writing, communication skills, and organizational skills, work simultaneously on various projects, and take ownership of engagements, strong influencing and negotiating skills.
Proven ability to drive solutions, work with Business and Operations and various technology partners to ensure success of the product.
Experience in data analysis using software/tools like SQL, Toad etc. is required.
MS Office tools proficiency required – Excel proficiency is required
Experience in ORMB 2.4 / CC&B 2.3.1 and above
