Job Description
We are looking for a Lead for supporting Statement SME work for Data Integration team with excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills in Java, ETL, PL/SQL technology with troubleshooting and communication skills for enterprise-grade applications.
As a member of the Tech Lead, you will be supporting the Data & Business Analytics platforms, which consists of AIX, Linux based hosts, ECS, OpenShift platforms, Oracle databases and analytics shared platforms which run tools such as TIBCO, WAS, Talend, and Business Objects. Additionally, you will be supporting MQ, NDM, Kafka, and other vendor application software in the environment. Your goal will be to provide stability and overall resiliency of the production system.
Experience
8-13 years work experience in Application Support preferably in a large scale global Financial Services Organization
Experience in large scale enterprise application development and/or support, or Operations and Engineering roles
Think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges in an enterprise environment for optimal solution to the existing problem tickets or issues
Responsibilities
Develop, implement, maintain and manage Java, Talend, and PL/SQL based applications
Connect with stakeholders on day to day basis
Understand the code and data flow and application functions
Correct the existing code if required which should be well designed, testable, performant
Ensure patches and hotfixes are in compliance with specifications along with the specification
Excellent team player and lead the team of L3 developers
Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies
Setup the configuration in UAT/PreProd environment to reproduce the issues
Debug the issues and perform the Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
Troubleshoot and resolve errors and exceptions
Take proactive measures to increase stability of Production applications
Perform log analysis
Essential Technical Skills
Experience with UNIX (AIX and Linux) Operating Systems, Unix scripting, (Shell, PERL, Python)
Hands-on experience in application support with Core Java, struts, spring, jdbc, EJB, JSP, WAS, PL/SQL and Talend
Excellent Hands on skills with SQL Queries, Tables, Joins, partitioning, performance tuning, PL/SQL, AWR reports, stats, etc. Shouled
Exposure in Messaging Services (JMS, TIBCO, EMS, MQ) and IBM WebSphere Application Servers and supporting applications which use these technologies
Experience with IBM NDM/ Connect Direct, FTP, SCP, SSH and other data/file transfer technologies
Experience with AutoSys Job Scheduling and other automation tools
Experience with authenticating, authorizing and managing access on LDAP, CyberArk, Certificate management
Working knowledge of Monitoring tech stack like ITRS, AppDynamics, ELK, etc.
Working knowledge of Change and Release Management tools (ServiceNow, uDeploy)
Experience in handling different format like XML, JSON, CSV, etc.
Good knowledge of SWIFT messaging and Payment domain is plus
Proven track record in problem solving and process improvement

Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
Proven ability in working with the development team members and other partners, with minimal supervision
Strong verbal and written communications skills, excellent interpersonal skills with ability to communicate well at all levels

Efficiently and effectively manages work, time, and resources
Ability to work under high-pressure situations and effectively prioritize in a highly dynamic work environment that includes a global focus.

Ability to understand the big picture – can step back and understand the context of problems before applying fix to address the issues.
Educational Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in any Business/IT Related discipline with relevant work experience in IT
