The candidate must have relevant experience managing an equipment rental/sales company’s entire business. He will be in charge of all key processes for the assigned region / territory, including sales, billings, and collections.
Responsibilities
In charge of the rental business’s overall sales, billings, and collections in the East Territory.
Complete responsibility for the territory’s sales process via the sales team, including generating leads and scheduling team member site/client visits, conducting one-on-one meetings and presenting presentations to prospective clients and large corporations, and closing sales transactions by assisting the sales team.
Managing, training, and providing overall guidance to an assigned territory’s sales team.
Setting reasonable sales targets for the sales team to meet.
Monitoring the sales team’s performance and motivating members to meet or exceed sales targets.
Traveling to potential and existing customers within a given sales territory to present company offerings and raise brand awareness.
Implementing a sales management process to help the sales team identify and prioritise key customers and prospects.
Interviewing and training new sales employees, as well as supervising other onboarding tasks as needed
Keeping track of outstanding payments and following up with clients to ensure payments are paid/collected on time. Ensuring timely escalation in the event of a payment delay and providing information to clients prior to due dates via emails, phone calls, and personal visits.
Serving the needs of your existing customers by collecting customer feedback and providing updates to senior management, as well as developing and maintaining long-term customer relationships.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Experience of managing business of a company/organization
Highly experienced in handling sales team.
Good knowledge of operations of various maintenance and repair procedures.
Training Your Team and Tracking Performance.
Organizing Workflow
Handling De-escalations
Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills.
Should be willing and able to travel for client meetings.
Education and Experience
Experience of 5-10 years in Similar role and Industry.
Degree in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering.
Master’s in Business Administration will be an added advantage.
