We are looking for a leader who can drive the organization to touch, move & inspire our employees, partners, customers & the market. Our ideal candidate will have extensive Technology Marketing experience and a comprehensive knowledge of branding & lead generation. She / He will have the ability to interact & coordinate with cross-functional senior leadership to build powerful positioning & go-to-market strategies that provide a solid direction to the company’s growth. She / He will also lead a team of writers, designers, and lead generation associates to help in successful planning & implementation of our aligned strategies through a plethora of specific & value-driven campaigns for our customers and other stakeholders (employees, new talent, partners etc.). Strategy & Planning
• Collaborate with the senior leadership to develop a solid positioning strategy for the organization
• In coordination with the functional leaders, developing a solid go-to-market strategy for our offerings (products and solutions)
• Bringing together cross functional expertise for developing an understanding of our existing customers, which will be at the heart of creating new customers
• Develop strategies for attracting the relevant customer profile (users, influencers & decision makers) from their intent & on their preferred coordinates (channels & time)
• Develop Content Marketing through relevant content that creates high-traffic from our relevant persona, lead-converting resources, and shareable creative projects.
• Develop strategies to attract site traffic and social followers, driving new sales leads
• Empower Sales & Sales Enablement with relevant content to send prospects, and fueling PR, partner, and influencer relations – that is relevant to our industry (B2G)
• Develop strategies to create customer(s) through a well-defined discovery process that is based on their needs & our capabilities.
• Grow the team through hiring and training for the roles that will make a strategic difference in our growth charter
• Contribute towards developing the strategy for pricing, messaging, promotion and selling of our products and solutions
• Identify and build relationships with prominent influencers and thought leaders in our space. Ensure that these relationships benefit both the company and individual.
• Brainstorm new, creative approaches to working closer with the influential members of our industry and serve as a go-to resource to the rest of the marketing team. We exist to enable our customers in safeguarding, empowering & enriching lives
• Planning for events that are instrumental in our outreach for our target market segment
Content Strategy & Execution
• Adopting a thorough and most current understanding of the technologies & solutions being developed in ClearTrail and developing a plan to reflect the pitch through content collaterals at a defined cadence.
• Build and manage a rich content/editorial calendar that attracts a qualified audience to ClearTrail’s owned digital assets (including whitepapers, ebooks, reports, webinars, infographics, product videos, social channels, website, blogs etc.).
• Collaborate with designers, Engineering, sales, and external influencers and industry experts to lead the production of relevant content that meets the needs of our customers
• Lead the creation of content that is differentiated and engaging enough to draw in new audiences from the law enforcement & intelligence fraternity
• Use data, research and understanding of psychology to shape our client’s narrative and create content experiences tailored to the company’s target audience
• Leading the delivery of long form thought leadership content projects for ClearTrail.
• Manage the company’s social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and additional channels that may be deemed relevant.
• Providing feedback to other contributors, and editing other writers’
• Spearhead the strategic and tactical execution of marketing campaigns, including design of campaigns, implementation, tracking, results reporting, analysis, recommendations & designing of iterations that can improve our results Demand Generation & Performance Metrics
• Manage the demand generation lifecycle, from attracting new conversations to nurturing them in the most valuable and relevant way, such that customers see their needs being addressed and are motivated to try our products and solutions
• Always keep the company up to date with market trends and competition
• Lead the identification of revenue opportunities within our established client base and managing consistent growth by securing new accounts
• Identify the SEO / digital advertising / digital marketing needs that will help us stay in front our target persona, and execute such plans with the help of the team
• Develop strategies to generate high quality inbound leads
• Manage the one-to-one conversations with our prospects to better understand their needs and provide them useful information / get them connected with Sales as necessary
• Identify short-term and long-term scheduling, budget, and resource needs, including the development and management of an annual marketing budget, profit/loss projections, expenditure spending, and other financial considerations
• Understand key marketing performance metrics and tracking tools to provide market research, forecasts, competitive analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends to translate results into actionable insights for marketing team
• Hold regular meetings with account managers to review pipeline, resolve challenges, and present possible solutions, and provide ongoing training to ensure team consistently performs above standard
• Manage ClearTrail’ s attendance at relevant conferences and tradeshows, preparing engaging displays and collateral as needed, and providing post-event reports and analysis
Event Management
• Serve as the Creative Leader behind all our online and offline events for our prospects and customers
• Lead the execution of an annual plan of events, ensuring event attendees growth and delight.
• Lead the creation of detailed proposals for all events, including timelines, venues, vendors, staffing, and budgets.
• Identify and secure speakers, topics, positioning & collaterals for each event.
• Coordinate with all internal and external stakeholders.
• Plan event layouts and agendas.
• Collaborate with marketing teammates to promote the event to our target audience to ensure a phenomenal attendance.
• Analyze the success of each event and propose creative new improvements to the attendees’ experience
• Provide thought leadership on how we can create memorable experiences for the customer in each of our engagements with them before, during and after the event.
Company Branding
• Develop a powerful story of ClearTrail that is consistent & authentic, and can be communicated to our stakeholders to touch, move & inspire them
• Evolve and ensure consistency and integrity behind our company’s brand and brand guidelines.
• Collaborate with company leaders and other key stakeholders on key projects that can create a high impact for ClearTrail in the market Lead all design and copywriting for ClearTrail.
• Manage a production calendar and the team responsible for hitting those deadlines, with regards to moving internal & external branding of ClearTrail
• Create and improve the company’s creative team and its workflow to build a top-notch execution muscle • Collaborate with the business team to uncover insights and strategies to develop and implement marketing and branding strategies for new and existing products, internally and externally
Talent Branding
• Attracting the best-in-class engineering, functional & business talent by building an authentic employer brand among our current employees & new talent pool- by focusing on an authentic employer value proposition, conducting a thorough brand audit, leveraging current employees & building an authentic employer story
• Plan, establish and oversee the company’s social media presence on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and blogging websites, with the context of attracting talent
• Creating innovative ways to attract prospective employees to the company’s website and distinguishing new recruitment opportunities through social media.
• Overseeing the creation of all printed recruiting materials, including brochures, PPTs, email campaigns and ads.
Skills, Qualifications & Location:
• Master’s degree in marketing, advertising, or communications / MBA equivalent from a Tier-1 university
• Successful track record in senior marketing roles for 10 years and creating marketing successful campaigns for 15+ years
• Proven track record as a growth hacker in technology organizations
• Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
• Proven ability to plan and manage budgets
• Proven ability to manage CRM / performance metrics related to Marketing Automation Preferred
Qualifications
• Proficiency with HTML, content management systems, and design software
• Established connects with influencers in the Government domain
• Desire to grow professionally with ongoing education / learning initiatives based on how the market responds
