What role will you play as a member of the Colgate’s Information Technology team?
Design and develop quality solutions on time and. We need to collaborate with business / functional teams and IT counterparts for daily support incidents and project activities in different business areas across all the geographies.
Who are you…
You are a developer –

• Understand and apply Information Technology standards to daily support and project implementation activities
• Applying conceptual knowledge of business processes and technology to tackle highly sophisticated business processes and procedural problems
• Lead and/or perform the design, build and testing of business applications and its architecture in line with agreed time frames, business requirements and global standards
• Maintain production systems reliability through accurate utilization of IT standards and governance processes
• Review program codes and suggest correction in case of any errors

You connect the dots –

• Support day to day business requirements according to global SLA
• Ensure the accurate use of information technology project management methodology to align with governance practices

You are a collaborator –

• Collaborate with business / functional team, develop detailed plans and accurate estimates for completion of build, system testing and implementation of project
• Mentor and coach junior developer resources

You are an innovator –

• Conduct performance tuning to improve system performance over multiple business processes
• Stay updated with the latest technological advancement.
• Adapt to these changes by self-training and research work and evaluate how / where it can add value to the business

What you’ll need…(Required)

• Engineering Graduate with 6+ years of experience
• Experience in different versions of SAP BW (3.x, 7.3 or higher, BW on HANA )
• Fair knowledge of programming languages like ABAP/SQL
• Exposure to Business Objects / Tableau / Qlikview will be added advantages
• Exposure to BW on HANA desirable
• Experience on HANA studio development, BW Modeller
• Added knowledge of BigQuery/ Snowflake/ DOMO/ Sigma will be useful
• Strong business interpersonal skills
• Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve problems logically and systematically to identify and communicate root cause
• Should be a keen learner
• Flexible to work on Support and Project

What you’ll need…(Preferred)

• Data Modeling
• creation and handling of Info objects, data targets like info cubes , DSO & ADSO , Info providers like composite and multi-providers, DTP and info packages, transformations to include update and transfer rules, routines, function modules and customer exits
• Data Extraction
• Should have worked on LO extractions and data source enhancements
• Reporting
• Creation & Modification of Bex queries, Web Application Designer, Webis
• Functional Experience (Desirable)

• Understanding of business processes like COPA, R2R, C2I modules of Finance

• S4 knowledge

• AMDP code writing will be preferable
