Position Title: Render Wrangler

Reports To:  Lead Render Wrangler

Location: Pune

Company 3/Method Inc is seeking a Render wrangler-WFO to help  providing input and ensuring implementation of the organizational Render department to achieve its current and future business objectives. The incumbent will also provide applicable spectrum of Render as required. 

Job description

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Monitoring, management, and control of the render farm queues.

• Monitor storage usage and liaise with the Data Operations team to Ensure sufficient space for renders.

• Escalate to on call Data Operations member after hours.

• Mentor and train Render Operations team members.

• Collating render farm utilization data & reporting to Render and Data Operations Manager.

• Maintain and keep up to date technical documentation of Render Operations procedures.

• Liaise with production to determine current important renders and prioritizations and distribute this information to team.

  Technical Skill:

• Basic scripting ability

• Relevant industry experience (IT/TD/TA/Render Wrangler/Lighter)

• Experience with Windows & Linux

• Experience with Silhouette, Mocha, Photoshop, Adobe Packages & most importantly, Nuke

•  2 years’ experience Knowledge of rendering in Deadline would be preferable.

• Must be comfortable working in an extremely fast-paced environment.

• Ability to adapt and learn new skills.

• Work effectively within the team.

• Effective communication written and verbal within the team and inter department.
