Cornerstone onDemand Hiring for Principal Devops Engineer at Hyderabad, India Full Time

We are looking for a highly motivated and

enthusiastic DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Principal DevOps

Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting in the development, deployment, and maintenance of our software

infrastructure, as well as supporting the development team with continuous

integration and delivery processes. You will work closely with experienced DevOps

professionals to gain hands-on experience and grow your skills in a

collaborative and fast-paced environment.

In this role you will…

• Collaborate with the DevOps team to implement and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

• Development of Kubernetes(deployment scripts for any new service deployments

• Participate in building and maintaining automated deployment and monitoring systems for various software applications.

• Support the development team in resolving issues related to build, deployment, and environment configurations.

• Help automate manual processes and optimize existing automation workflows to improve efficiency and productivity.

• Assist in managing and configuring infrastructure on Google Cloud platform to ensure scalability, availability, and security.

• Contribute to the creation and management of infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform.

• Monitor and analyze system logs, metrics, and performance indicators to proactively identify issues and optimize system performance.

You’ve got what it takes if you have…

• 5+ years of experience as DevOps Engineer.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

• Good understanding of software development principles and practices.

• Good knowledge and experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)

• Solid knowledge of Linux/Unix system administration and networking concepts.

• Familiarity with at least scripting language (e.g. Python, Bash).

• Exposure to Google Cloud platform

• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN).

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

• Self-motivated and eager to learn new technologies and tools.

• Any additional experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet) would be a plus.
