Job Responsibility:

The Purchase Executive is responsible for sourcing of quality material, making the material available on time, vendor payments, procuring quality material, proper GRN.(Vendor Development )

Technical

• Checking the technical aspect of the product
• Ensuring the quality of the product
• Price negotiation

Managerial

• Customs handling
• Documentation related to Imported material
• Arranging for samples if needed to test and approve(Activity drawing)
• Closing purchase requisition on time
• Mode of transport for incoming material
• Selection and performance evaluation of Vendors
• Ensuring the orders flow as per the designated plan & procedure
• Timeliness closing of the order
• Coordinating with Stores for Inventory level, Re-ordering
• Defining MOQ’s (Minimum Order Quantity)

Administration

• Generating the Purchase Order
• Taking the GRN
• All records to be maintained in SAP

Authorized to

• Take decisions related to price after approval
• Select and reject suppliers based on evaluation
• Release PO’s upto 100K
