Critical river Hiring for ALM Test Engineer at Bangalore Full Time

• Understand the firmware development and embedded software development life cycle (requirements to release)
• Define workflows for Test Management., (co existing with Requirements Mgmt., Design Mgmt., Change & Configuration Mgmt., etc.)  in compliance with automotive and cyber security standards
• Improve SW development, tracking and auditing efficiency using a well-connected management layer on top of the engineering layer
• Interface with the SW projects to gather requirements/use-cases and propose solutions and recommendations to demonstrate added value with ALM
• Enable smooth integration of ALM layer with engineering tools like test frameworks, CI/CD, SW architecture modeling tools, Version Control Systems, etc.

Experience Needed :

• Approximately 5-7 years of experience in R&D in semiconductor or embedded software industry
• Define methodology and concept for developing Test Management aspects of an Application Lifecycle Mgmt. (ALM) platform for all embedded SW projects.
• Seamless integration of different tools used within embedded development flow.
• Expert knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including SW Development, Architecture/Design and Test Management Concepts
• Expertise in SCM tools like GIT/Bitbucket, Github, Gitlab SCM
• Experience or understanding of CI/CD environment using Jenkins and CI pipelines
• Hands-on experience in implementation of development flow with well-connected toolchain used in SW project
• Hands-on experience in scripting and automation using Python
• Hands-on experience in ALM tools like CodeBeamer, Polarion, MicroFocus ALM, etc is a plus
• Hands-on experience and experience in OO languages like C++/Java is desired
• Exposure to DevOps technologies like Kubernetes, Openshift, Docker is desired
• Know-how of firmware and embedded software development life-cycle would be preferred
• Experience in Automotive software and/or MCAL development/validation/methodology is a plus.
• Experience in developing testcases using Test Frameworks like Razorcat Tessy, Vector CAST is a plus.- Experience or exposure to test automation and automated regression testing is a plus.
• Knowledge of ISO26262 process and requirements would be a plus
• Exposure and working knowledge of Agile Software Development Methodology
• Conversant with Unix/ Linux and Windows Platforms
