Job Description
6 years of experience in Design tools & fixtures for Assembly, welding & machining operations and add required automation. Support Lead in estimating tooling requirements & cost.
Manage project quality of deliverables, project timelines & communication with unit stakeholders as needed.
Should be able to generate design concepts for medium / complex Welding Fixtures / Assembly Fixtures / Machining fixtures / Gauges / Rack designs independently. Good drawing reading skills.
3+ yrs. in Tool Design in any Manufacturing / Automobile / Farm equipment Industry
Good Knowledge on Weld / Assembly / Machining Fixtures /Gauge Design.
Good Knowledge on engineering materials, their properties, heat treatment, uses and application.
Knowledge of Tool Tryout and tool rectification
Knowledge of CAD software – Modeling & Drafting
Basic knowledge of Additive Manufacturing
Good Project management & Communication skills
Basic knowledge of Limit fit tolerances, GD &T

Assembly Fixtures, Creo 4.0 + Windchill 11, Fixtures Design, Geometric Dimensioning And Tolerancing (GD&T), Machining Fixtures, Welding Fixtures
