Requirements:

Bachelor’s/ Masters of Architecture or Engineering
-
Minimum 5 years of experience in Fire and Life Safety
-
Knowledge of NFPA, IBC, BS, GCC codes and standards
Skills:
-
An excellent knowledge of software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point
-
Enthusiastic bent of mind with a positive work ethic and able to work in a demanding, interdisciplinary work environment
-
Excellent communication skills
-
Excellent command in English language
Job Description:
-
Job involves being part of Dar’s global Fire and Life Safety team led by the Head of Unit across DAR design departments and design offices.
-
Assist in the project monitoring with respect to Fire and Life Safety codes and requirements.
-
Prepare the Fire and Life Safety strategy reports based on local and international codes and standards.
-
Prepare and Issue fire zoning plans, occupant load and egress capacity calculation and authority submissions.
-
Coordinate project’s Fire and Life safety issues with other trades.
