Rock Mechanics Expert – Senior Geotechnical Engineer

Senior Geotechnical Engineer with academic specialization and/or experience in Rock Mechanics.
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geotechnical or Geological engineering
-
8 to 10 years of relevant engineering experience
Relevant work experience includes the following:
-
Design and supervision of ground investigation programs
-
Rock mass classification
-
Rock joints survey/stereographic projection, and kinematic Analysis
-
Derivation of strength and deformation parameters of jointed rock
-
Rock slope Stability and rockfall evaluation
-
Design of rock bolts, anchors, shotcrete, wire-nets,
-
Numerical modeling
-
Rock slope monitoring
-
Application of probability theory
-
Leadership qualities including teamwork, communication, business sense, and value will be considered essential assets.
Work will involve both office and field tasks with international travel according to project requirements.
