Rock Mechanics Expert – Senior Geotechnical Engineer

• Senior Geotechnical Engineer with academic specialization and/or experience in Rock Mechanics.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geotechnical or Geological engineering

• 8 to 10 years of relevant engineering experience

  Relevant work experience includes the following:

• Design and supervision of ground investigation programs

• Rock mass classification

• Rock joints survey/stereographic projection, and kinematic Analysis

• Derivation of strength and deformation parameters of jointed rock

• Rock slope Stability and rockfall evaluation

• Design of rock bolts, anchors, shotcrete, wire-nets,

• Numerical modeling

• Rock slope monitoring

• Application of probability theory

• Leadership qualities including teamwork, communication, business sense, and value will be considered essential assets.

  Work will involve both office and field tasks with international travel according to project requirements.
