What will your role be:
Working on spectrum of databases mainly ORACLE and MS SQL Server including NuoDb, CouchBase,DB2 etc
Oracle 12c/19c – Standalone, Multitenant RAC databases, Installation , Backup Recovery, Data Guard configuration,Patching and upgrades
Get to know data warehousing concepts
Monitoring of environments
Gathering business requirements, documenting functional specification and design specification
Automating run operations using scripting
Support developers and end users and ensure Application DB Infrastructure for high availability and performance

The Challenges ahead
You will be responsible on different facets of Database administration including sizing, monitoring, disaster recovery planing etc
As part of operations, you will have to :Automate the recurring operational tasksInstallations, Licensing and configurationsSupport the business for migration and deployment through different environment setupsDesign and monitor the infrastructure for continuous availabilitySupport the run operations within the SLARegular Oracle patching to secure the infrastructure abiding by the Change Management process guidelinesYour Key expectations and success factors for future growth :
B.E./ B Tech in Computer Science Engineering or a related discipline from premier institutions with good academic track records
Oracle Database 12c / 19c RAC on Linux Administration knowledge is a mandate
Oracle Performance Monitoring
Linux Performance Monitoring
Manage Oracle Software and apply patches
Maintaining Local and Cluster registry
Shell / Powershell scripting
Strong Problem solving and analytical skills
Good team spirit and interpersonal skills
Effective communication skills
