Safety Officer

Location: Mumbai.

Experience-4 -5yrs

Job Responsibilities:

· Knowledge of risk assessments; fire, process & electrical safety; legal govt & non govt compliance; Provide training to both the workers and management; Ensure that plant abide to various central/state statutory rules and regulations.

· Ensuring provision of PPEs for all workers and staff before going to the site.

· Daily TBT /Pep talk before start of the work.

· Daily site safety inspection and making daily safety observation

· Ensuring permit to work system.

· Checking safety associated with Welding and cutting.

· Checking availability of life lines at required place

· Conducting different safety training programs.

· Checking Electrical safety

· Excavation safety

· Fire point inspection.

· Physical inspection of different lifting tools and tackles before their use.

· PPEs inspection.

· Labour camp inspection.

· Preparing Monthly HSE report.

· Preparing MOM of safety committee meeting.

· Knowledge of various standards like (IS/ IEC/ NFPA/ CEA)
