Job Description

Department: Delhi Location:Janakpuri, Delhi Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the project staff members and identify and prepare stories related to the project to be published
• Meet people from the community, visit intervention areas, read review reports to construct stories to showcase Deepalaya’s efforts and achievements to the larger public domain
• Create content for the social media channels, that can be shared on external digital platforms
• Create communication material for donors and other stake holders in the form of reports, case studies, success stories, etc.
• Support for production/preparation of project related communication material, fact sheets and reports
• Support the team in identification of innovative communication and public relations platforms
• Write, edit, and research for the daily posts on Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin, Instagram, etc.
• Ensure audio-visual documentation of all the important events at Deepalaya
• Support the team in creating print and digital media collaterals – compile Annual Report, update brochures, pamphlets, newsletters, etc. both online and print as and when required
• Building and maintaining relations with various media agencies, with an aim to encourage media partners to include/publish information/news about work being done by Deepalaya
• To help brand building for Deepalaya with media agencies by visiting, sharing information and organizing exposure visits to Deepalaya

Requirements:

• Bachelors/ PG Diploma in Mass Communication/ Journalism/ English/ PR / Liberal Arts or related subjects.
• Ability to think creatively
• Exceptional writing and conversational skills in English
• Comand on grammar / media relation
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to represent Deepalaya at the highest levels within various media agencies and to speakconfidently about its philanthropic activities
• Excellent listening skill
• Social media skill and planning calendar
