Senior Principal Software Engineer – IT

What you’ll achieve

As a Senior Principal Software Engineer – IT , you will deliver products and improvements for a changing world. Working at the cutting edge, you will craft and develop software for platforms, peripherals, applications and diagnostics — all with the most sophisticated technologies, tools, software engineering methodologies and partnerships.

You will

• Drive all aspects of IT Project, Program and Portfolio activity, including collaborating and coordinating across all IT and business segments

• Define project value proposition, scope, work plan, resource needs, timeline and budget for IT projects

• Manage resources (i.e., capital requirements and human capital, etc.) to complete project/program on time and within budget

• Be responsible for the coordination of sprint delivery and production release with up to 10+ developers

Essential Requirements:

• 12 to 18 years of experience in building data mesh and ability to operate as an advisor to senior data leaders in client organizations

• Experience in articulating data platform nuances between data architecture paradigms (data mesh, data fabric, lake house, etc.), and helping customers in building or migrate to a new architecture

• Knowledge and experience with large-scale database technology (e.g., Teradata, Oracle Exadata, Greenplum, etc.)

• Hands-on expertise with SQL and SQL analytics

Desirable Requirements:

• Experience with no-SQL database

• Experience with serving as SPOC for Data governance-related activities
