What you’ll achieve As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be part of the Marketing IT team. Marketing IT provides custom services to enterprise customers as a premium service. The objective is to provide the systems at client’s disposal ready out of the box. Dell is a market leader in this segment and uses cutting edge technologies and sophisticated processes to achieve this objective. The IT team Marketing IT provides the backbone to business team and works as a valued partner. It mainly works for small, medium and Enterprise business and enables them with custom services for their IT needs. Marketing IT organization is hiring a Software Engineer to help organization build simple, global, and standard set of applications in the segment, enhancing customer experience and the overall Dell business. Key Roles and Responsibilities include:

• This position will be for a Full Stack developer, responsible for design, development, test and maintenance of Dell owned products/features/applications front end and back end
• Duties include participating in all activities necessary to take a product from concept to production including requirements analysis, design, prototyping, debug validation, troubleshooting production issue and maintenance
• Developing technical specifications, participating in design/code reviews, development, creating test cases and test plans.
• Ensures designs and code are in accordance with security and compliance (SOX, PCI, and other security requirements)
• Identify areas of improvement in application space (scalability, supportability, performance, etc.,)
• Encourage and share domain knowledge of applications
• Passionate about the customer experience, and ensure every visit is a great experience
• Work in the Product Model methodology

• 4-8 years of development experience in technologies with hands-on experience on ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript, AJAX, ReactJS, HTML 5, CSS, Online SharePoint and Cloud microservices
• Experience in using the repository tools like TFS, GitLab, Online SharePoint
• Ability to have unit test plan and develop unit test cases.
• Awareness on the Test-Driven Development approach

Desirable Requirements

• Integration and middleware knowledge on Messaging Queues, RMQ and PostGreSQL
• Experience in JIVE technology
