Job Description for BFSI Business Analyst with managerial experience – Rural Lending

The Role requires a mix of Project Management experience with hands on BA experience. Expectation is to have detailed process knowledge of Rural Lending and retail lending capabilities specifically for domestic banking customers. Good understanding of Loan operating system. Capability to manage Agile based projects as a PM and detail operations as a BA.

Responsibilities

• Current state research, data gathering, analysis and modelling
• Process analysis and Process documentation
• Business requirements gathering from CLIENT stakeholders
• Business requirements definition and prioritization
• Business flow creation and optimization
• User stories and business requirements documentation
• Traceability of business requirements into solution design to confirm linkage of business functionality/expectations in any new proposed solution
• High level business solution design, which may cover aspects of customer journey design, policy design, business process design, business procedure design, organisation/people design and high-level functional systems design (for example, architecture, use cases)
• Evaluation of relative costs, benefits and obstacles of potential solutions
• Traceability of requirements and solution design into subsequent system design activity, through liaison with the CLIENT Software Delivery team in order to confirm technical designs follow the business design
• Analysis to support key decisions made by the Project sponsor or steering committee
• Support in UAT Testing
• Support in operational readiness
• Support in Release Management
• Track operational benefits and support in risk management
• Change management and training support
• Support in tracking progress of project and reporting
• Scope and schedule management
• Resource management, Risk and Issue management

Domain experience needed:

• Experience in Rural Lending is a must .
• Must have PM experience and BA background.
• Should have led / played significant role in end-to-end digital transformation programs in Agile environments

Experience:

• 5 to 6 years of experience in business analysis PLUS 2 to 3 years’ experience in project management
• Total experience of 7 to 10 years

Education:

• 4-year Degree related to IT
