Analyst / Senior Analyst — Global Finance Services (GFS) – Operations- Deloitte Support Services India Private Limited

The Deloitte Encore Program is specifically designed to enable seasoned professionals who have left the workforce for one to three years to return to work. Work you’ll do

• • Analyzing all cash deposits and confirming they are accurately posted after all research is accomplished
  • Processing client invoices and ensuring they are accurate, complete and in accordance with business/customer/legal laws, policies, procedures and contractual requirements. Process high volume bills for Accounts Receivables and update billing system and customer files with issued invoices.
  • Preparation of journal entries, perform account analyses and accrual reviews, and perform other General Ledger operational activities.
  • Process PO and supplier invoices and payments. Ensure accurate posting of financial transactions within accounts of responsibility including journal entries and interfaces & support period end financial closing activities
  • Perform financial operational reconciliations including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow analysis. Perform monthly account reconciliations in a timely and accurate manner. Handle monthly, quarterly & annual close activities.

Other job responsibilities may include:

• Prepare any other Adhoc reports as required by the management from time to time.
• Prepare and organize supporting documentation for reconciliations.
• Corresponding with the external stakeholders as when needed.

• Liaison with other Finance teams to effectively resolve discrepancies; acting as the first point of contact to ensure complete, timely and accurate flow of activity being responsible for.
• Application of accounting principles and procedures to analyze financial information, prepare accurate/timely financial reports & statements and ensure appropriate accounting control procedures.

• Maintaining the required TAT and quality targets for the process.
• Communicate effectively with peers and senior team members and clients
• Identify issues and concerns that may affect the performance of the job and communicate the same to manager or their immediate higher up / team lead.

Work location: Hyderabad
Shift timings: 630 AM – 330 PM; 11 AM – 8 PM; OR 2 PM – 11 PM (depending on role and client served)

Required:

• B.com / M.com / MBA / CA Inter / ICWA Inter
• Minimum two years of experience
• Basic knowledge of Financial Accounting and Analysis.
• Core competencies in PTP, AR, Cash Accounting, GL support, Reconciliations, Master Data Management, etc. are considered a plus.

• Basic MS Excel skills are required. Advanced skills are a plus.
• Strong capabilities in MS Word & PowerPoint
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
  
• Willingness to continuously learn, upgrade skills and stay relevant to business demands
  

• Knowledge of financial systems is required, Experience with SAP would be a plus.
• Looking for hard working individuals who are able to manage work independently and who always have a positive, can-do attitude.

• Strong analytical thinking/problem solving skills.

• Organized, detail oriented, flexible, self-starter & highly motivated
• Strong understanding of core finance business processes
