Transaction Surveillance Solutions is an integral part of Cash Management and has been established as a first line of defence function to build appropriate controls to ensure regulatory compliance, and open up business opportunities by (i) improving the effectiveness and efficiency of existing controls, (ii) supporting the design and implementation of new/existing Business Products & Services and (iii) development of Transaction Surveillance owned Products & Services, as well as (iv) active industry and regulatory shaping and positioning of Deutsche Bank.

You will be a key member of the Account Activity Review Portfolio Squad that is part of the Transaction Surveillance Tribe. We are responsible for delivering solutions that protect Deutsche Bank’s financial and reputational interests from criminal or inappropriate behaviour.

Your key responsibilities

• Working with key stakeholders from different divisions to drive and evolve out product requirements and platform capabilities
• Elaborate our backlog and work within our Squad teams to deliver change across the AAR platform

• Support multiple product business lines in bringing in product coverage into the AAR controls
• Work with functional analysts and engineers on deliver new and enhanced AAR control capabilities
• Become a business SME to support Tech teams by the development of application capabilities, best practices, and issue resolutions

Your skills and experience

• Experience in business analysis
• Experience in data analysis and techniques with good knowledge in SQL (and Tableau)
• Experience in understanding of data model, data specifications and data formats (e.g. JSON)
• Understanding of Cash Management Products and Payment Standards, e.g. SWIFT MT, ISO20022
• Understanding of basic Payment Accounting
• Experience of working in an Agile development methodology supporting remote as well as local delivery teams
• An ability to quickly and effectively understand and translate control requirements into business and data requirements whilst adhering to the agreed specification
• Bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) or equivalent work experience, a concentration in Business Administration and/or IT-related discipline would be beneficial
