Role Responsibilities

• Computation and validation of NAV, checking income accruals, NAV movement, return analysis, etc

• Computation of Income equalization and distributable surplus for distribution of dividend to the unitholders as per the dividend policy of the fund

• Reviewing Bank and Holding reconciliations and resolving breaks, if any

• Processing and verification of all trades for the day processed in the system

• Valuation / pricing of various instrument types like equities, bonds, derivatives, Commodities, Commodity derivatives,

• Coordination with client for trades.

• Coordinate with Registrars for Unit Capital files and checking and processing the same in the system

• Monitoring the email instructions for trades and other instructions including Custody instructions.

• Computation and Dissemination NAV to the Press, Registrar, etc.

• Balance sheet substantiation

• Audit co-ordination and finalization of accounts

Exposure/Skills

• The Fund administration team works with some of the top names in the fund industry.

• You’ll be working in one of the teams responsible for managing the end-to-end processes related to securities and portfolio / fund valuation for client segments like Mutual Fund, Alternative Investment Fund, Portfolio Managers, etc.

• Our fund administration team uses one of the best platforms available in the fund accounting space which is robust enough and at the same time offers flexibility to parameterize the system as per local needs and regulations.

• Knowledge & experience in Audit, Taxation, etc

Education / Certification/ Skills

• Passed both the groups of IPCC exam conducted by ICAI and completed 1.5 years of articleship

• Strong PC skills including Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint

• Ability to communicate effectively (oral & written)

• Strong analytical / business problem-solving skills

• Well organized & able to clearly present results of work

• Ability to manage own time

• Diligent, thorough, shows initiative and is proactive

• Team Player – willingness to pick up any activity in the team on need basis , able to induct new joiners and support them

Eligibility

• Should be eligible for Industrial Training as per the ICAI rules and regulations
