Responsibilities:

1. AWS Infrastructure Provisioning:

• Utilize Terraform to design, build, and manage scalable and reliable AWS infrastructure components, ensuring high availability and efficient resource utilization.

2. ECS Fargate Cluster Management:

• Lead the provisioning, configuration, and monitoring of ECS Fargate clusters, optimizing performance and resource allocation.

3. IAM Role Management:

• Design and implement IAM roles following the principle of least privilege to ensure secure access control for various functions within the organization.

4. CI/CD Pipeline Ownership:

• Take charge of the end-to-end ownership of our CI/CD pipeline using GitHub Actions, enabling seamless and automated deployment workflows.

5. Threat Protection Implementation:

• Implement and configure AWS WAF and AWS Shield to safeguard our systems and applications against potential threats and vulnerabilities.

6. RDS Cluster Monitoring and Management:

• Manage and monitor RDS clusters, ensuring data integrity, high availability, and timely backups to safeguard critical information.

7. Network Security with AWS Best Practices:

• Apply industry-leading AWS best practices to design, implement, and manage network security measures, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems.

8. Audit Participation and Gap Closure:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Development, Security, and Quality Assurance, to participate in audits and address identified security and compliance gaps.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience in provisioning and managing AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
• Strong expertise in setting up and maintaining ECS Fargate clusters, along with robust monitoring practices.
• Proficiency in IAM role design and management based on least privilege principles.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline setup and management using GitHub Actions.
• Familiarity with implementing and configuring AWS WAF and AWS Shield for threat protection.
• Demonstrated ability to monitor and manage RDS clusters and implement effective backup strategies.
• Thorough understanding of AWS network security best practices and their practical implementation.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and participating in security audits.
• Relevant AWS certifications (such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) are a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
