DHL Hiring for Associate – Finance ( IC ) at Chennai, Tamil Nadu Full Time

Accountable & Responsible for performing Financial Accounting tasks for DGFF with adequate controls. Leverages & applies developed knowledge of the accounting skills, understanding company policies and procedures & controls environment to complete a wide variety of assigned tasks. Perform tasks with minimal supervision, drive process improvements on the assigned portfolio, communicate effectively with our Business Partners & work collaboratively to address any challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintenance of Intercompany Data Management / Create/Update CoA and Parameter
• Excellent understanding of Cargo wise & System 21
• Perform daily activities on invoice issuing, receiving & posting
• Perform activities on manual ICO invoice (recharge, DOE, Management Fees) issue / received appropriately accounting in S21
• Review CW1 Approval queue, ensuring that BOT posts open items on daily basis, analysing and addressing fallouts to Operations/Country Finance
• Perform activity relates to ICO Settlement between Partners (ie) monies due from/to Partners are settled via ICRS/ICP.
• Perform activity relates to IHB booking statements and reconcile
• Prepare & Post Standard Monthly Journals as per the Standard Operating Procedures (Spilt entry, FX, adjustments. Etc.)
• Perform Month end close activities like booking of CW1 approval queue provision, ageing notes, write offs, adjustments journals etc & reporting
• Perform Month End close tasks CREST BS, P/L reconciliation and adjustment entry preparation/post
• Perform Month End close reports like Aged SIP, Open IHB items, Open CW1 queue invoices etc
• Balance sheet Reconciliation preparation and follow up for open items
• Adherence to Control and Compliance
• Connect with internal and external stakeholders to collaborate & resolve queries/issues.
• Understand internal control requirement and other audit requirements
• Identify best practices and take initiative to share with the team
• Look for continuous improvements
• Performs clerical accounting duties within a broad scope under little supervision
• Provides significant support on assignments (e.g., implementing a new system)

*** This role will not have team management responsibility; this is an Individual Contributor Role***

Candidate should be Flexible to work in any shifts, specifically Night Shifts.

• Work Experience: Should possess a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in relevant business of ICO
• Educational Qualification: Graduate /Post Graduate (B.com/B.B.A/B.B.M/) or higher in Accounting
• Soft Skills: Good Business communication & presentation skills required.
• Technical Skills: Intermediate knowledge in MS Office (Excel and Power Point)
• Organized and works towards stringent timelines
• Flexible with work shift
