DIATOZ Hiring for Procurement Specialist at Bangalore Full Time

The Procurement Specialist is responsible for all aspects of order processing. This includes entering new manual orders, processing and monitoring orders, then managing inspections to ensure they are shipped according to routing guides. This position is the liaison between the strategic sourcing managers and vendors. Validate and process orders, check pricing, delivery dates, and inventory status, and maintain customer information and other data related to each transaction. Researches and resolves order errors, notifies strategic sourcing team of any discrepancies or backorders.

Responsibilities

• Create PO & issue POs to suppliers
• Receive PI and request Payment from AP and monitor payment status.
• Request payment from AP. Communicate payment issues both ways between supplier & AP
• Keep a good track of PO tracker, shipping dates, monitor PO production status
• Track how long PI is issued after PO. Keep track of PI payment and record when the vendor gets the payment.
• Manage the entire inspection/certification booking process with BV, Eurofin & any other inspection partners
• Be the first line of contact for the inspection report.
• File/update inspection trackers. Provide testing results summary to the sourcing team on the monthly basis
• When products failed inspections, involve category manager immediately to solve product quality issue
• Enter PO to VMS system for shipment and ensure the suppliers enter the information on their end as well.
• Track any process delay or disagreement between CDS & suppliers
• Provide monthly status report on all the above activities

Key Skills

• 2+ years’ experience with order processing, inspection management and shipping coordination
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (strong customer service skills)
• Detail oriented, capable of following complex procedures which require tracking of pending items for timely follow-up.
• Ability to troubleshoot one’s own problems and determine necessary course of action to resolve.
• Identify high priority items and adjust workflow as required.
• Fluent Mandaring (written and speaking) highly preferred not mandatory.
