Database Admin : MySQL & MongoDB

Mandatory Skills

• Strong hands-on MySQL and NoSQL Programming Skills
• Sound knowledge of Database programming [SQL Query, Joins, stored procedures, triggers etc.]
• Coordinate with network and system operations teams to resolve problems with database systems, capacity planning and risk management.
• Potential to work with the development team to optimize overall application design, using performance data modelling, database design and query reviews of existing business systems.
• Ability to optimize the queries and performance tuning of MySQL and MongoDB for better throughputs.
• Design and implement a database for projects, as per defined business requirement.
• Experience with Replication – binlog and GTiD
• Experience with MongoDB Replica Sets and nodes management.
• Experience in Backup Solutions & Disaster Recovery
• Must have Good knowledge of DB Engines
• Should have a strong understanding of Multi master high availability database management
• Experience in DB monitoring & performance tuning
• Should have No SQL db. experience such as MongoDB, Redis, Memcached knowledge
• Knowledge of Galera or Similar Cluster configuration, maintenance and management.
• Solve complex performance problems.
• Good communication skills w.r.t all levels of stakeholders
• Work closely with Project Managers and other Team members to ensure timely completion of deliverable.
• Play an active role in getting Up-to-date technology knowledge and proficient in working with high availability environment along with alignment to processes.

• Working experience with AWS/RDS/Aurora
