The Sr. Manager, Administrative Procurement is a key enablement role that will own and manage all aspects of non-IT procurement operations for the India organization. This role requires a cost-conscious and savvy professional that can define and deliver on the right procurement strategies by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. The incumbent will be highly resourceful and have strong communication and negotiation skills, and high level of self-motivation, integrity and a willingness to put the company’s interests first.
Establish procurement operations function for non-IT procurement for India organization.
Establish and drive a robust process and governance for procurement operations, in collaboration with Finance, Facilities, Legal, InfoSec and Leadership teams.
Establish vendor relationships with multiple vendors across all areas of India operations – including but not limited to transportation, food and beverages, facilities management team, gift vendors, travel desk, hotels/restaurants, etc.
Deliver on procurement mandates from leadership in a time-bound and cost-efficient manner.
Manage every aspect of the supply chain and notify the senior management team of any possible obstacles to ideal efficiency.
Negotiate favourable rates and terms for services with vendors.
Partner with internal teams to co-ordinate delivery with the vendors, define SOPs and SLAs as needed.
Perform cost analysis and set appropriate benchmarks.
Proactively manage and mitigate vendor risks to insulate organization from several procurement risks.
Bachelor’s degree in any field.
