Job Description

• Monitoring stock levels and identifying purchasing needs
• Identify sources of supply to obtain most economical pricing and quality in support of production and maintenance.
• Process Purchase requirements as per the MPP. Prepare and process the P.O’s on time and orderly manner.

• Material order management for samples and as per production requirements

• Ensure that all documents from suppliers are in order and co-ordinate with shipping agency to ensure smooth and timely imports of raw materials and goods.

• Proper documentation of all supplier records as per the policy

• Researching potential vendors

• Tracking orders and ensuring timely delivery

• Complete all Goods receipt entries for incoming materials after getting QC clearance.

• Maintain log to track Urgent deliveries.

• Monitor stock levels and identify purchasing needs

• Update internal databases with order details (dates, vendors, quantities, discounts)

• Conduct market research to identify pricing trends

• Evaluate offers from vendors and negotiate better prices and prepare cost analysis

• Maintain updated records of invoices and contracts

• Follow up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm or change orders

• Validate receipt, and review all incoming materials

• Coordinate with Suppliers/Transporters and with Stores to ensure all products arrive in good condition

• Good understanding of supply chain procedures

• Report any supplier or vendor performance issues in time as per policies
